# Moon and Mars landmark selection

what other maps should we improve on? My thoughts:
- Mare Tranquillitatis should use the "LROC NAC DTM TRANQPIT1" data - the pit is the major landmark i would like to get into the game. the other stuff craters etc is nice to have as well. i guess this would be a good candidate to build upon
- Cerberus Fossae twin fissures (HiRISE DTM PSP_009280_1905) is a very nice piece that i would like to lean on. The cliff walls are hard to model, they might need to be composed / kit-bashed out of other bits and pieces. not sure what mars region to replace with this one. where does it belong geologically and do we have a existing map? What is the weakest map on mars that we can replace with this one?
-  San Francisco Volcanic Field, Arizona, USA (35.58 N, 111.63 W) · DEM raster - that one could be a good candidate for mars or so?

What other maps are weak and should be replaced? Lets first figure that out and find something matching. i think im setlled on the Mare tranquillitatis, but i want to build a roster of 2-3 more maps to improve before letting the agents roll.  We might need to add/extend the kit for different landscapes. moon may already be covered by what we have with shackleton. Mars might need more adaption due to its difference in color and shape. I want to follow the same process, as this was very well done and the results are good
